ColosseumDays, permanent death,2d action


Previously the game was about a bossRush + roguelike upgrade, but i found that if people havent actually fight the boss before, design like this could be very frustrating, for example if you encountered a late boss which you know nothing, if you die you need to go through everything to learn him , unlike other games which you have beaten all the bosses(learn them already) before you go into a bossRush mode.

So i twisted the design, focusing on bossfight is the same, but this time with more colosseum characteristic, you survive the clock in the colosseum everyday and get your salary(bonus if you perform well), use those salary to upgrade yourself, but also every lose is permanent death( losing all your money and level) , so the priority is surviving and when you are stronger, familiar with the boss you try to kill it and go to the next, and the permanent death pressure still make the fight thrilling. 

Also days are counted which will affect the world, gladiator friends may die if you are too slow, crowd maybe bored of you. But i need more time to construct the world, Currently i am working on the core which is the combat and boss design. 

Video below shows the full  bossfight . there is a prototype with 2 bosses, aprreciated if anyone willing to try it. Personally i enjoy the fight even i testplayed a lot, need some feedback from others.
